Representative greeting
The number of tourists visiting Okinawa is increasing year by year, taking advantage of the Wakatsu National Athletic Meet held to commemorate the return to the mainland in 1973 and the ocean expo in Motobu two years later, and in 2019 it exceeded a record high of 10.16 million. The second runway was put into service on March 26, 2020, and new LCCs have entered the market, new routes from neighboring countries such as Taiwan, South Korea, China, and Hong Kong, and more flights have been made. It is expected that the tourism industry will continue to be the leading industry in Taiwan and will continue to index the economy. However, the tourism infrastructure that accommodates the increasing number of customers is not as complete as that of overseas resorts, and it is urgent to develop products and provide services that customers desire.
There are many things that Okinawa can be proud of, such as wonderful nature, history, and world heritage.
